My philosophy centers on a three-pronged approach to therapy. First, I believe that “right believing” leads to “right living.” Without reshaping thoughts and beliefs, individuals may remain stuck in the same patterns. Secondly, I prioritize science and evidence-based methods to ensure effective outcomes. Her motto is simple: if it doesn’t work, she won’t use it. Lastly, I emphasize the importance of honoring each person’s unique family, cultural, and spiritual backgrounds, and I am committed to integrating these differences into my practice.

Dr. Soha is a licensed clinical psychologist, dually licensed in California (#27712) and Texas (#40027). Her expertise covers supervision, consulting, program development, speaking, and training across clinical, educational, and faith-based settings. She has specialized training focused on children, adolescents, and families. Dr. Soha previously served as a liaison with the Department of Mental Health. In that role, she implemented a highly sought-after parent-child therapeutic model in Southern California. She has also collaborated with private Christian elementary schools to develop on-site support centers for young children.

 As a supervising psychologist, Dr. Soha has overseen doctoral interns, postdoctoral fellows, and staff psychologists. Her consulting work includes providing marital counseling, often tailored to leadership roles within church settings. Dr. Soha is a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional and a certified professional coach. She approaches mental health from an integrative and holistic perspective. This involves addressing the whole person, including emotional functioning, habits, physical health, and daily life. 

A primary area of focus is working with couples and marriages. She co-leads marriage groups and partners with ministries to strengthen relationships. This work helps couples build secure attachments, emphasizing God attachment and long-term relational stability. Additionally, she has partnered with Middle Eastern programming through TBN to provide education on marriage and family dynamics.

Above all, her most meaningful role is spending quality time with her family.

I work with individuals, couples, and families, with a special passion for helping couples strengthen their connection and communication. In my work with couples, I draw from the Gottman Method, an evidence-based approach that helps partners build friendship, manage conflict, and create shared meaning. With individuals and families, I integrate Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients challenge unhelpful thoughts, reauthor their stories, and discover their strengths.

Layney Pittman is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (License #206237) supervised by Dr. Elise Thompson, LMFT-S (License #200800). She earned her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas Woman’s University and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Tyler, where she first discovered her love for the psychology of love and relationships. During graduate school, Layney completed her clinical internship at the Irving Family Advocacy Center, where she provided therapy to individuals, couples, and families and facilitated a coping skills group for teens.

Modern life is punctuated by a series of big and small transitions. The most significant changes require steadfast support. It is crucial not to struggle alone and in silence, as many believe they should. With change, enters an unspoken grief. Even when change is positive or necessary, it often means saying goodbye to routines, identities, or relationships that once felt familiar and secure. At the center of your work with me, we will partner to grow and build resilience. Resilience isn’t something you’re simply born with; it is a skill you can build. We often have a deeply ingrained belief that we won’t —or cannot —cope with adversity.

My clinical approach is grounded in an attachment-based framework that emphasizes safety, connection, and emotional attunement as foundations for healing. I partner with clients to learn how early relational blueprints shape present-day patterns in emotion, behavior, and relationships. Alongside this depth work, I weave in here-and-now coping skills, drawing on my training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy.

I began my career as an attorney. After a cross-continent move, I enjoyed building a career in the financial services sector and obtained Series 7 and 66 licensure. Still determined to forge a unique path for my career, I completed my Master of Science in Counseling Psychology at Palm Beach Atlantic University in Florida. I was selected by the faculty to serve an internship at the University Counseling Center. Post licensure, I joined a thriving private practice in Jupiter, Florida, for over a decade. I enjoyed working with teens, adults, couples, and families. I have extensive experience in separation and divorce navigation, new parent coaching, workplace conflicts, executive career coaching, and mood disorder therapy. After training with The Family Peace Initiative I remain deeply committed to serving those impacted by domestic violence.

Bianca Milliern is licensed in Texas (86351) and Florida (MH13206) and certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She brings over 14 years of experience in private practice and a wealth of life experience to her sessions and considers herself to be a dynamic and culturally minded therapist. She specializes in treating adjustment problems, parenting and divorce coaching, couple and relationship therapy, as well as anxiety and depressive disorders.

I see it as a true privilege to walk alongside individuals and couples as they navigate healing, growth, and connection. Each person’s story is deeply meaningful, and I approach the therapeutic relationship with care, curiosity, and deep respect.

My interest in becoming a therapist began many years ago, but I first walked the path of motherhood—staying home to raise my children for a decade. That season shaped me in deep and lasting ways. After that chapter, I returned to school to pursue my degree and formal training in therapy—work that feels both deeply personal and profoundly important.

I’ve been married to my husband for 18 years, and I understand both the beauty and the challenge of nurturing long-term relationships. It’s from this place of lived experience, compassion, and curiosity that I meet clients—whether they’re individuals or couples—on their own unique journeys.

My clinical approach is rooted in evidence-based methods, with a strong emphasis on trauma-informed care. I utilize attachment-based modalities such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I have completed Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 2, which informs my work with couples as they strengthen communication, deepen intimacy, and rebuild trust. Additionally, I am EMDR Trained (EMDRIA Approved Basic Training) to support clients in processing trauma and distressing life events. Through my intermediate training in Somatic Experiencing®, I integrate a mind-body approach to healing trauma, which helps clients restore a sense of safety and regulation in their nervous systems.

Sarah Stocking is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate in Texas (#100306), supervised by Dr. Heather Cawthon, LPC-S (#63776). She earned her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from The King’s University in Southlake, Texas, where she integrated clinical excellence with spiritual awareness. I have extensive experience working with athletes—from beginners to world-class competitors—as well as their families, coaches, and referees, supporting their emotional well-being, focus, and performance.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working in different countries and cultures, opening opportunities as one of the US Olympic Training Center diversity leaders and being a US National coach in Taekwondo. Being an International and National coach; also, being an International, National, and World champion have helped me to understand the demands and difficulties athletes, coaches, and support systems have. I have been working and supporting as a professional counselor and sports psychologist in different countries (Mexico, Australia, Spain, Canada, USA), with their teams and athletes in different disciplines, such as Taekwondo, Jiujitsu, Swimming, Tract and Filed. Golf, Soccer, Basketball, Hockey, and so on have enriched my understanding of people and the diverse ways we grow, heal, and connect.

Currently, I am part of the IME team and Texas Taekwondo coaching staff in charge of the athletes’ psychological preparation.

I also work with individuals, couples, and groups facing a variety of life challenges.

Early in my married life, I had a bad experience with Christian counseling. Effectively, I was told, “Don’t you know what you are doing is a sin? Stop it!” While I did not continue with that counselor, I thought there must be more to it than that. After reading James 1:25, I began to believe that God doesn’t want us to be told what to do as much as He wants us to see and experience the freedom of His Word in the real world—our everyday lives.

The result for me has been a “where the rubber meets the road” kind of faith and therapeutic practice. I believe both research and faith need to be “real” (1 Corinthians 15:23) and applicable (James 2:16) to the issues we struggle with.

Maybe you find yourself doing the very thing you don’t want to do, or not doing the thing you want to do (Romans 7:15-20), or struggling with silencing the voices of doubt and fear; I would love to help you figure out “how.”

Or for couples who try to talk to each other, “but it’s like I say one thing and he/she hears something totally different than what I said or meant.” I would love to help you translate what you wish they would hear.   (Yes, there is such a thing as male/female speak.)

I believe in the transformative power of faith and professional therapy to bring about healing and renewal. I offer Christian counseling designed to provide a safe and supportive space. I integrate faith-based approaches with evidence-based therapies to promote holistic healing in the areas of anxiety, depression, anger, relationship issues, or spiritual concerns. I firmly believe it is my job to help those who are hurting find the healing, freedom, and fulfillment they were designed to have. I believe this is accomplished through proven therapeutic practices that span at least five dimensions:

Physical – EMDR, biofeedback, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) informed Guided Imagery—awareness and regulation of the body’s responses to thoughts and the environment.

Cognitive – Our thoughts and what we do with those thoughts; our interactions with ourselves.

Affective – The physical states most people refer to as emotions.

Social – Our interactions with others.

Spiritual – Our interactions with God and the Divine.

Dr. Luis “Luigi” Leos has been a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas since 2007 and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Colorado since 2020. He graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Ph.D. In Counseling and a minor in Clinical Psychology, a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and a Master’s degree in Christian Education. Dr. Leos has taught university courses as an adjunct professor, teaching courses in clinical diagnosis, family theory, military-to-civilian life reintegration, and the treatment of adolescents.

Dr. Leos completed his practicum experience at Millwood Psychiatric Hospital in Arlington, Texas, and an internship at the intensive outpatient treatment program at the Meier Clinics in Richardson, Texas. He worked eight years on staff with Meier Clinics, providing marriage and family therapy and outpatient treatment for patients with clinical mental health disorders. He became a clinical director at Spirit Counseling TX in 2015.

Dr. Luigi Leos has been an Executive Coach to business owners, executive managers, and CEOs since 1998 and a business consultant since 1996. He has been a lay leader of Divorce Recover and other self-help groups since 1997. He is very involved with his church and has served as the leader of several educational classes.

I believe that beneath our many differences, all humans share a deep longing for connection and emotional attunement. When we feel safe to fully experience and express our emotions, we’re able to live more authentically and cultivate relationships that sustain us. But when we become disconnected from our inner world—or from those we love—it’s easy to feel stuck, alone, or unsure of how to move forward.

My approach is grounded in Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), a research-supported model that emphasizes the wisdom of emotions as a guide toward healing and change. As a counselor, my goal is to help you tune into the emotions and attachment needs at the heart of your struggles. Together, we’ll explore how your experiences and relationships—past and present—have shaped the way you respond to yourself and others. In session, we’ll work to identify the emotional patterns that keep you feeling distant or overwhelmed, and gently create space for new ways of experiencing yourself and your relationships. Our work may touch on themes of identity, trust, vulnerability, loss, and the deep human need for love and belonging.

In couples therapy, I focus on helping partners recognize and shift negative interaction patterns, express their core emotional needs, and rebuild emotional closeness. In addition to practicing EFT, I may also incorporate techniques from the Gottman Method, a research-based model that supports couples in improving communication, navigating conflict, and fostering shared meaning. Together, these approaches create a safe and supportive environment where couples can repair disconnection, deepen intimacy, and strengthen their bond.

Eden is a graduate student in the Master of Science in Counseling program at Southern Methodist University, expected to graduate in December 2025. She is supervised by Dr. Jennifer Fast, Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Director at SCC. Eden’s clinical interests include individual and couples counseling, with a focus on relationships and trauma-informed care. Prior to pursuing counseling, Eden spent 14 years in public relations and marketing, supporting consumer, nonprofit, and public health initiatives through strategic storytelling. Most recently, she supported sales efforts for programmatic and technology consulting with Medicaid agencies at Accenture. Before that, she led integrated communications campaigns for a global philanthropy in Austin, amplifying the reach and impact of programs serving low-income children and families. With a professional foundation in public sector marketing, philanthropic storytelling, and mission-driven media relations, Eden brings a deep understanding of how to communicate with empathy, clarity, and purpose—skills she now channels into her work as an emerging counselor.

I believe that therapy is most successful when there is a safe space for clients to come exactly as they are. The therapy room should be the place for individuals and couples to authentically show up, no matter their struggle, knowing that I will meet them with support, encouragement, and healing. My goal is to join with my clients to find their unique path towards healing and growth. Whether it is conflict, grief, anxiety, disappointment, relationship issues, life transitions, or processing the past, no one should have to walk through their struggles alone.

In my practice, I use a variety of counseling techniques. With individuals, I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help them navigate life’s challenges with acceptance rather than avoidance. In my work with couples and relationships, I use the Developmental Model, which focuses on how relationships evolve and how partners can work to grow together to foster connection and relationship satisfaction. I am certified in Prepare/Enrich, which is one of the most widely respected premarital programs. I am also certified in the Enneagram testing and analysis, which is a way to understand different personality types.

Allie Brookman is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate (TX #9901), supervised by Ginny Manley. She has her Master’s of Science degree in Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy from Southern Methodist University. Allie strives to learn and experience life in a way that supports her work with individuals, couples, families, and groups. Before her time at SMU, Allie attended the University of Oklahoma and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in business, with a focus on non-profit organizations. After graduating, she worked with women who had experienced sexual exploitation. This experience taught her about the power of connected relationships and that it is important not to walk through healing alone, ultimately leading to her choosing counseling as a profession.

There is a common adage that love is the most powerful force in the world. Great academic minds such as Albert Einstein along with great social reformers such Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King, Jr. have all professed its transformative power. With every year of my life, I am more and more convinced that love does, in fact, have the ability to nourish, heal, liberate, calm, strengthen and even embolden every soul. To be loved and to love, in that order, is the call of every person’s heart.

Love is inherently relational, and my heart is to help people experience the transformative power of love in their relationships with themselves and with others. She earned her Master’s in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. As a Christian, Tiara recognizes the value of faith in one’s life and relationships. Some of his specialties include issues relating to anxiety and depression, communication and conflict issues, infidelity, and parenting. Jason is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate (#204963) in Texas, under the supervision of Dr. Lauren Titsworth (#202924). He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington, and earned his Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas Wesleyan University. He has experience working with diverse individuals, families, and couples facing depression, anxiety, ADHD, intimate partner violence, and relationship issues. He also has experience providing ABA therapy for adolescents on the Autism spectrum with a variety of needs. Jason works for Denton County MHMR as an MST Therapist, providing assistance and therapy to families whose child is at risk of involvement with the juvenile justice system.

Jenni Jennings, M.Ed. LPC-S, is a licensed professional counselor supervisor (#10663) in Texas and distinguished mental health professional. She received her Master’s Degree from Texas Woman’s and completed specialized training at the Family Study Center at UT Southwestern Medical Center and the Gestalt Center in New Orleans.

In 1993, she founded the school-based Youth and Family Mental Health Centers for the Dallas Independent School District, which would expand to ten locations and earn her state and national awards, including recognition from the White House.

Jennings is an esteemed presenter on child and adolescent mental health, family therapy, spirituality, trauma, and family support policies on both the national and international stage. With over 30 years and hundreds of clinical hours of experience as a professional counselor, she is deeply committed to guiding positive transformations in the lives of her clients. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, I’ve been trained to walk alongside couples and individuals through the most difficult seasons of life. I use evidence-based practices such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and The Gottman Method to help partners uncover underlying emotions and communicate more effectively for connection, compassion, and caring. Research shows that EFT typically helps 70-75% of couples move from distress to recovery, and over 90% of couples report significant improvement. I am passionate about working with couples and assisting with identifying the deeper roots of their struggles, so that each partner can get what they need and the couple can rebuild from the ground up.

Maria is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (#204415) in Texas supervised by Elise Thompson (#200800) and Jennifer Kendall (#203322). Maria graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and earned her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas Woman’s University. Maria is a trained Save Your Marriage Before It Starts (SYMBIS) Facilitator and has completed the Level 1 Gottman Training as well as an EFT Externship. Dr. Rachel Moore is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#204246) in Texas. She graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a Bachelor’s in Family Studies, from Purdue University with a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy, and from Saint Louis University with a Ph.D. in Medical Family Therapy. She has experience working with adults, couples, families, and adolescents from diverse backgrounds who have faced many of life’s challenges, including depression, anxiety, complex trauma, grief, chronic illness, parenting concerns, relationship issues, and more. She also has specialized training in Medical Family Therapy (MedFT) working with patients, their primary care providers, and other medical professionals in the doctor’s office and hospital settings. In her role as a MedFT, she evaluates the mind-body-behavior connection to health management and can provide brief behavioral interventions for clients working through a variety of physical health concerns, chronic illness, and/or disease. She has worked in a variety of other settings including community mental health, higher education, as well as in-home and in-school therapy.

Nancy Rosenberg is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Texas (#204353). She graduated from Texas A&M University with a BA in English and History and earned her Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Amberton University. She has experience working with individuals, couples, families, and groups, with an emphasis on relational difficulties, coping strategies, boundaries, life transitions, and grief. She often implements Internal Family Systems, a methodology that focuses on the “parts” that make up every individual, and she is a certified Prepare/Enrich premarital method facilitator. She is certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (C-DBT), and has developed Decision Point Counseling, a form of discernment therapy designed to help couples considering divorce determine whether or not the relationship can (or should) be saved. Rosenberg is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT).

Rosenberg is the author of five books, including Journal for Couples: 100 Questions to Deepen, Enhance & Ignite Your Relationship (2025) and Outwitting Stress—A Practical Guide To Conquering Stress Before You Crack (2003), and she has written for Fitness Magazine, Woman’s Day, Health & Fitness Sports Magazine, and The Dallas Morning News. Emily Clark, LCSW-S has been a licensed clinical social worker (#59823) since 2014 and an LCSW supervisor since 2022. She has trained and worked in a variety of settings including residential facilities, higher education, inpatient, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and private practice. She graduated with a master’s degree in social work from the University of Texas at Arlington. She also has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of North Texas, and a bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Baylor University. She now has the prestigious designation of LCSW-Supervisor as well, eligible to supervise provisionally licensed social workers seeking full licensure.

Emily’s specialties include treatment of active duty and veteran populations and their families, first responders and their families, individuals and couples counseling in PTSD and trauma, relationship issues, caregiver stress, women’s issues, and sexual health. Ms. Clark is also a member of the South Texas Research Organizational Network Guiding Studies on Trauma and Resilience (STRONG STAR), a multidisciplinary and multi-institutional research group to develop and evaluate effective interventions for combat-related posttraumatic stress. Emily is Prepare Enrich certified, which is the most widely researched and utilized premarital program. Emily has also earned the Intensive Trauma Treament certification as well as the Integrative Sex and Couples Therapy certification.

As a licensed marriage and family therapist, I am trained in relational systems and have the ability to help individuals, couples, and families to create and maintain connections that bring joy and belonging into your lives. Studies show that people with deep and meaningful relationships have better mental and physical health than those who lack those relationships, which is why I am so passionate about working with you to make sure those relationships are healthy and happy.

I practice mainly from the therapy lenses provided by Contextual Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. This means that I believe that having context and background into issues, relationships, and ourselves is an important place to gather understanding and then once we have that understanding, we can move to a place where we use that context to find solutions. Megan Pardy received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies, as well as her Masters of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas Tech University. Mrs. Pardy is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#202912). She is experienced in running Pre-Marital workshops and is trained in the ‘Great Start’ Pre-Marital Curriculum as well as the most widely used and proven curriculum, Prepare Enrich. She previously interned at Hospice of Lubbock providing grief counseling and running grief support groups. Mrs. Pardy also interned at Texas Tech University’s Counseling Center providing individual and couples counseling to a wide range of clientele. Mrs. Pardy spent several years working with families offering family counseling and parenting skills with a program under the Family and Youth Services sector of the state government. Her specialties include individual and couples counseling, premarital counseling, life transitions, anxiety and stress reduction, female empowerment, LGBTQIA+ counseling, grief and loss, coping skills, and parenting skills.

I believe psychotherapy should be a transformational experience. We often get stuck in patterns of relating and being that, at one time, were adaptive and protective, but no longer help us to be our best selves. Psychotherapy helps to understand those patterns, develop strategies to disrupt them, and create new ways of being and relating that get us closer to our personal and professional goals. Dr. Jennifer Fast was initially licensed as a clinical psychologist in Illinois in 2011 and has been a licensed clinical psychologist in Texas (#38062) since 2018.

She has trained and worked in a variety of settings including higher education, community mental health, and residential facility. She graduated with her doctorate in clinical psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology and a bachelor’s degree in psychology and classical studies from Loyola University-Chicago. Dr. Fast’s areas of specialty include treatment of adults, young adults and adolescents, LGBTQIA+, trauma, crisis assessment, group psychotherapy, clinical supervision and training, and community/organizational interventions. She provides treatment from a feminist and humanistic framework and integrates other evidenced-based interventions to meet the individual needs and goals of clients. She is also trained and practices Discernment Counseling for couples on the brink of divorce. Dr. Fast views psychological and cognitive assessment as an empowering experience for clients and as an important adjunct to psychotherapy.

Before making Texas her home, Dr. Fast served as Assistant Dean of Students and Director of Health and Wellness at Lake Forest College. She was active as an area chair for the National Association of Student Affairs Professionals in Higher Education; served on the Lake County Sexual Assault Prevention Consortium; and served as a consultant for the Lake Forest/Lake Bluff Wellness Task Force. She has presented nationally on sexual assault prevention in higher education and clinical supervision and training as well as providing trainings on diversity and identity, management and leadership. Dr. Fast also treated individuals and couples in a private practice setting.

As a Christian, I recognize the power of faith in anyone’s life and relationships. Dr. Stanford is a certified service provider for Twogether in Texas, a trained facilitator of the Prevention and Relationship Enhancement Program (PREP), and a certified provider of Discernment Counseling. Dr. Stanford also has training in couples therapy, sex therapy, sexual abuse and trauma, and play therapy. He has been educated in the following therapy models: Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, and Structural Family Therapy. Dr. Stanford has interned at the Brief Therapy Institute in Fort Lauderdale, the Center for Couples and Family Therapy at Florida State University, Healing Transitions: Creative Counseling for Children and Families, Inc., and S.U.P.E.R.B., an anti-bullying program. Dr. Stanford has conducted research on romantic relationships, specializing in the effects and aftermath of infidelity.
