Lindsey Beckman, M.A., LPC
Are you or someone in your family struggling with loss, anxiety, or depression? Do you sense you or your family aren’t living their best life, but do not know how to move forward? I am a firm believer in personal strength and believe all individuals can learn tools to overcome hardships and loss. With my encouragement and guidance, you can learn how to add new tools and techniques to your “tool boxes,” which can be utilized to build the grit needed to thrive in life. Therapeutic techniques utilized for individuals and couples are EMDR, client-centered therapy, as well as Imago Relationship Therapy. For premarital work, Lindsey is certified in the Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts (SYMBIS), a well-respected and widely used assessment and curriculum.
When counseling individuals and couples, the therapeutic tools I incorporate include calming techniques, empathy, validation, and practicing active listening. Throughout my practice, I employ tools to address relationships, anxiety, and depression by using bilateral stimuli, journalling, and mirroring.
