Are you or someone in your family struggling with loss, anxiety, or depression? Do you sense you or your family aren’t living their best life, but do not know how to move forward? I am a firm believer in personal strength and believe all individuals can learn tools to overcome hardships and loss. With my encouragement and guidance, you can learn how to add new tools and techniques to your “tool boxes,” which can be utilized to build the grit needed to thrive in life. Therapeutic techniques utilized for individuals and couples are EMDR, client-centered therapy, as well as Imago Relationship Therapy.

When counseling individuals and couples, the therapeutic tools I incorporate include calming techniques, empathy,  validation, and practicing active listening. Throughout my practice, I employ tools to address relationships, anxiety, and depression by using bilateral stimuli, journalling, and mirroring.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas (#68592), I worked for the non-profit organization, Lena Pope. I worked with adolescents, families, & couples. Also, I worked in the Tarrant County Juvenile Detention Center where I facilitated groups on behavior management, communication, and coping skills. I’ve been a practicing clinician since 2009 and continue to strive to be well-versed in the most effective forms of therapy today.
